ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Myrta Hoffman, 74, a former Attica resident, who had been residing at the Indiana Veterans Home in Lafayette since 1965, died at 10:20 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 18, 1976) there. Born Feb. 25, 1902, in Covington, she was the daughter of Robert and Grace Groves. Mrs. Hoffman had resided in Attica from 1952 to 1965. She also had formerly resided in Covington and Danville, Ill. She was first married to Steve Cox and later married Charles Walter Hoffman on April 19, 1930, in Veedersburg. Mr. Hoffman died May 19, 1959. Mrs. Hoffman attended school at Covington. She was a member of the Attica Nazarene Church. Survivors include two sons, Robert Cox of Attica and LeRoy Hoffman of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Grimes of Lebanon; two sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Newman of Annapolis and Mrs. Cecil Keller of Danville Care; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Four sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Services will be in the Dale Maus Chapel at 2 p.m. EST Sunday, with the Rev. A.L. Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Dale Maus Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Saturday.  --waw
